A workspace around your agents
Haicue is a desktop app for working with AI agents across projects, conversations, and days. It launches agent sessions, keeps context and results in folders called threads, and gives you a place to review what happened and decide what comes next.
Your agent still does the reasoning and uses its own tools. Haicue handles the surrounding work: sessions, shared files, schedules, live context, and follow-up.
Where Haicue fits
In technical terms, Haicue can be described as a meta-harness: a workspace around agent harnesses. An agent harness runs a model with tools and a conversation. Haicue sits around supported harnesses, such as Claude Code and Codex, and manages their sessions together.
The distinction matters when you choose a model, connect a tool, or set permissions. Those capabilities still depend on the agent you are running. Haicue adds a common place for the work around them.
Agents can operate Haicue too
You can ask an agent to organize and run the work around a task. Through Haicue’s skills and hai commands, it can inspect and reorganize threads while preserving their sessions, launch sessions with a chosen agent and model, send them instructions, manage automations, and open tools such as Cues and LiveApps.
For example: “Start a review session on the onboarding thread, give it the brief, and bring its findings back here.” For work across several threads, use the Index thread as the place to coordinate.
Three things to know
- Thread
- The lasting home for a piece of work. It holds instructions, source material, results, and loose ends.
- Session
- A conversation with a running agent. A thread can have several sessions, including sessions from different agents.
- Cockpit
- The view where you work on a thread: chat, files, sessions, and tools together.
A session can end without ending the work. A new session can read the thread and continue from the recorded decisions.
Choose a starting point
- Start your first thread for a complete first-use walkthrough.
- Manage sessions if you already have work running.
- Use the command line to let an agent operate the workspace.
