Privacy

What Haicue keeps on your device, what connected features send, and how to contact us.

Who is responsible

Devheart Technologies Inc. operates Haicue and is responsible for personal information under its control. This notice describes the information handled through our desktop app, website, and connected services, why we use it, and your choices. Direct privacy questions and requests to hai@haicue.com. Agent providers and other services you connect have their own privacy notices.

Why we process information

We process information to provide the features you request, authenticate accounts and devices, deliver updates, respond to support requests, operate shared workspaces and remote access, investigate failures, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations. Where consent is required, we obtain it for the relevant purpose. We may also process information without consent where applicable law permits or requires it.

Local workspace and agent context

Threads, their files, and local app state are stored on your computer. Local storage does not mean every task stays on the device. The agent you choose may send prompts, files, tool results, and other task context to its provider. Skills can also send information to the services they operate. Review those providers and the context you make available before starting work.

Account and device information

Sign-in and desktop connection features use account identifiers, email and profile information supplied by the sign-in provider, and session credentials. The platform also handles installation identifiers, device metadata, app version, and platform information to identify the connected installation and support authentication, updates, and troubleshooting. Guest desktop sessions can identify an installation before you sign in.

Diagnostics and usage information

The app and platform support diagnostic and usage events, including errors, event timestamps, feature activity, and device or session identifiers. Events can be associated with an account or installation. Collection depends on the app’s configuration and enabled collection features. We use this information to investigate failures and understand how the product is working. Diagnostic messages and attachments can contain details about your work; review information you submit to support.

Feedback and contact

When you join the waitlist, contact us, or submit feedback, we receive the information you provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, files, and diagnostics. Feedback can be associated with your account or guest installation. We use it to respond, investigate problems, and communicate relevant updates.

Live Capture and browser access

Speech recognition and speaker matching run locally. Voice enrollment data and the voiceprint remain on the machine. Transcript text passed to an agent, and screenshots that it reads, may be processed by that agent’s provider. Browser-control tools can read the pages and account data available in the connected browser profile. Choose capture sources and browser access according to the information needed for the task.

Teams and Mobile Remote

Team features send selected shared content and membership information to the platform so collaborators can access it. Dotfiles are excluded from team content sync, but secrets in ordinary shared files are still part of that content. Mobile Remote uses an authenticated connection to your desktop host. When you request remote views or actions, information such as session output, instructions, loose ends, and selected LiveApp traffic passes through that connection.

Cookies and browser storage

Sign-in and remote-access features use cookies or browser storage to maintain sessions and identify authorized browsers. Mobile Remote uses a host-scoped device identity for access management. Blocking this storage can prevent those features from working. The website may also load resources from external services, such as fonts, which receive the connection information needed to deliver them.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers for functions such as authentication, hosting, data storage, and email delivery. Information needed for those functions is processed by the relevant providers and may be handled outside your province or country. Content you direct to an agent provider or another connected service is also subject to that service’s practices. We may disclose information when required by law or as necessary to address security incidents and protect legal rights.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice and applicable legal obligations. Account records support access and security; diagnostics support investigation and reliability; support records allow us to resolve requests and keep a record of their outcome. Retention depends on the record’s purpose, legal requirements, and any unresolved dispute or security incident. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it non-identifying. Backup copies may remain until replaced through their normal lifecycle. Your local workspace is under your control; account closure does not erase local files or copies retained by collaborators or connected services.

How we protect information

We use safeguards appropriate to the information and how it is handled, including authenticated access to account and remote features, restricted access to service records, and protected transport for connected services. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for the stated purposes. You also play a role by protecting your device, accounts, and connected credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects personal information, we will investigate and provide notices required by applicable law.

Your choices and requests

You can stop capture, disable Mobile Remote and optional features, choose what to share, and limit the files and services available to an agent. You may ask for access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, request deletion, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact hai@haicue.com with enough detail to identify the information or service involved. We may verify your identity before acting. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful restriction. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot provide a feature that needs the information. You can also raise a concern with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at www.oipc.bc.ca or another privacy authority with jurisdiction.
