Create an automation
- Enable Settings → Add-ons → Automations.
- Open Automations in the thread’s Toolbox.
- Describe the task and when it should run.
- Review the draft: When, Do, Runs with, Report, and Thread.
- Save it when the schedule and task are correct.
Every weekday at 9:00 in America/Vancouver, review this thread’s
open questions and write a short note about what needs my attention.Keep the work description about what one run should do. The schedule belongs in the trigger.
Choose who runs it
A session automation uses a bound agent session and preserves its model and effort settings. Haicue can resume that session when needed. A Brain automation uses a separate, bounded background runner.
Haicue and its host must be available for local scheduled work. Agent authentication and any services the task uses must also be available. For calendar schedules, review the timezone and the policy for missed runs.
Review and control runs
Select an automation to see its definition and History. Use Run Now to try it, Pause to suspend it, and Resume to enable it again. Run Now is unavailable while the automation is paused or already running.
Pausing cancels the active automation occurrence. Do not assume that this also kills an agent process or a command it already started; inspect the session if you need to stop the underlying work.
Results and questions
The executing agent reports success, retry, needs_user, failed, or skipped. A run that needs your decision should say what is missing. Review the result and any saved files before relying on it.
Event activation, automatic session creation, and context rollover are separate optional policies. They are disabled by default. A schedule alone does not enable them.
